  • Shipping

    When will my order be sent?

    We package and send orders on a Monday/Tuesday each week to ensure they are usually received prior to the weekend and to minimise the amount of time the plants are in transit. Once you place your order, all plants that are in stock are dispatched within 7-14 days. Typically any order placed over a weekend will be processed the following Monday (or if Monday is a holiday, the following week). If for some reason we cannot send your order, we will email you to advise you of any delays.

    How are the plants packaged so they survive the trip?

    All plants are packed tightly in a cardboard box with packing material to protect the foliage of the plant and to minimise soil being dislodged in transit. Your plants may need a good water upon arrival.

    Do you send plants throughout Australia?

    We send plant orders to NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD and SA. Unfortunately we are unable to send plant orders to TAS, WA and NT due to quarantine controls.

    Do you ship internationally?

    Unfortunately we are unable to ship plants internationally. 

    How do you send your plants?

    We use Australia Post for all deliveries. For areas metro and large regional areas within NSW and ACT, we send regular post. For interstate and remote NSW areas we send Express Post to ensure the parcels are received as quickly as possible.

     

    How do I track my order?

    Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information with a tracking link that you can follow via email.

    How long will my order take to arrive?

    Once dispatched, generally your order will take 2-5 business days to arrive. Please note, regional and rural destinations may take longer.

    How much does shipping cost?

    Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order. 

    Do you send to P.O. boxes?

    Yes we can! All items sent with Australia Post can be shipped to a PO Box. If you specify a PO Box delivery, please ensure you pick up the parcel and unpack the plants as soon as it arrives to ensure the plants are received in the best possible condition.

    Where are you shipping from?

    We ship all orders from Gloucester, NSW.

    What if my delivery goes missing?

    Woodside Plants will not be responsible for any missing packages, provided we have proof of delivery to the correct address. All of our deliveries are carried out with a proof of delivery photo. If you believe your order has been delivered to the incorrect address, please get in touch with our friendly team, and we will help you right away. 

    Can I pick it up instead?

    Yes you can! If you select ‘Local Pick Up’ at check out, you can pick up your order directly from us here in Gloucester. Pick up can be arranged by appointment only. We will notify you when your order is ready for pick up, and provide you with location details.


    Do you have a physical nursery I can visit?

    Our nursery gates are open to the public in Spring and Autumn each year on Tuesdays (9am-5pm) and Saturday mornings (9am-1pm) only. Our address is 14 Johnson Street, Gloucester.

  • Our Plants

    What size are the plants?

    All plants are grown and delivered in a 100mm diameter pot. We only dispatch our plants if we are confident the root system is healthy and well established. In some instances we may cut back the foliage prior to sending. We recommend you plant and water them as you would any other plant, and they will soon show signs of new growth (unless the plant is herbaceous in which case they will show signs of new growth once the weather warms up in Spring).

     

    Should I wait to plant or can I plant them straight away?

    Whilst the plant is still relatively young, we ensure all plants are healthy and viable so that they can be planted immediately into the garden, planter or an ornamental pot.

     

    Where are the plants grown?

    All plants are grown outdoors at our growing area in Gloucester. None of our plants are grown under cover, therefore they should not require much time to adjust to natural sunlight once you unpack your plants. We do experience frosts during Winter and therefore all plants are frost hardy unless otherwise indicated.

     

    Am I able to order plants any time of the year?

    We send plants throughout the year, however our plant stock will vary from season to season. The plants may be evergreen or deciduous, herbaceous or have been cut back during or following Winter depending upon the species.

  • Returns & Exchanges

    How can I return or exchange an item?

    Once your order has been dispatched, we cannot accept a return or exchange. If there is any issue with your order once you receive and unpack the plants, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your parcel so that we can resolve the situation. We guarantee the safe delivery of all orders or offer replacement of any damaged plants.

    Should you wish to cancel an order or pre-order that has not yet been dispatched, we are happy to provide you with a credit for the order amount. 

     

    Can I add additional plants to my order prior to dispatch?

    Yes you can! If you wish to add additional plants to your order and you have not yet received a notification that your order has been dispatched, please reach out to our team at plants@woodsideplantsanddesign.com.au. We can assist you with adding additional plants to your order.
