First discovered in 1937 at the Californian Botanic Garden by Allen Chickering, this hybrid between Salvia clevelandii and Salvia leucophylla is grown for its lavender blue flowers forming a tier of whorls. Flowering period is Spring through to early Summer and is quite an eye catcher. We have found it needs excellent drainage and lots of sun to perform at its best at 1.5m x 1m this needs space to grow. It can't be cut down like some other Salvias as it doesn't come back well from heavy pruning.
- All plants are grown in a 100mm diameter pot
- Plants are usually sent on a Monday each week to ensure they arrive prior to the weekend. All orders to VIC, SA and QLD are sent Express Post.
