Vibrant butter yellow flowers which can reach 30cm in size sit on top of uniquely square stems to 1.8m in height. Forsythia Sage as it's commonly called, is a curious delight that blooms in Autumn and Winter. It is very attractive to bees and butterflies. Prefers well drained and moderately fertile soils with adequate moisture. Native to Mexico, benefits from being cut to the ground in early Spring.
