Distinguishable by its colour, 'Claret Prince' is crowned with wine-purple double blooms, a shade seen on no other Aster. Flowering is in late Summer to Autumn, which is long lasting (even in a vase). Grows to approximately 70cm wide and tall. Flowers best in full sun. Be wary of growing in very humid conditions or part shade positions, where it may be susceptible to powdery mildew.
