Calming and graceful, 'Hobella' has lacecap flowers in the softest, most glorious pink. The blooms gradually age to shades of green before developing a bold cherry-red margin in Autumn. Compact in habit, 'Hobella' is a must-have hydrangea. Growing to approximately 1.2m high × 1.2m wide. Requires moist, fertile, well-drained soil with protection from the hot afternoon sun. Mulch well to help retain moisture.
Fun Fact: 'Hobella' was bred in the Netherlands by JG and WJG Hofstede and introduced in 1994 as the first hydrangea in the Hovaria® Series. Its name combines "Ho" from Hofstede with "bella", the Italian word for beautiful—a fitting name for a hydrangea celebrated for its changing colours and graceful form.
