A recently developed form of Little Bluestem. A fabulous American native grass introduced by the University of Minnesota. Reaching 1m in height, 'Blue Heaven' is drought tolerant in well drained soil and thrives in poorer soils. Characterised by strong, upright growth in a gun metal grey colour through Summer. The foliage turns a burgundy colour in Autumn and deep red in Winter in colder areas. A great specimen plant - but if you have the room, 'Blue Heaven' makes a wonderful effect en mass or in a drift planting.
