A drought resistant, tough, easy to grow floriferous ground cover. Native to South Africa. Perfect for Australian gardens since it tolerates heat and dry soils. Yellow or orange -yellow flowers bloom at the same time as Agapanthus. Known as 'Intelezi' to the Xhosa people or 'Ithethe' to the Zulu people. Medically it is reported to assist wound recovery time, and has many other uses to indigenous African people.
