Native primarily to the islands of Madeira and the Canary Islands, Euphorbia mellifera is an evergreen perennial with upright stems and narrow, lance-shaped leaves, creating a sculptural presence throughout the year. In late Winter to Spring, it produces domed heads of honey-scented, chartreuse flowers that attract pollinators and pair beautifully with ornamental grasses and perennials. Requires well drained soil in full sun to part shade. Drought tolerant once established, and performs particularly well in mild coastal and temperate gardens. Grows up to 2m high x 1.5m wide.
Note: As with all euphorbias, milky sap is present — gloves and glasses are recommended when handling or pruning.
- All plants are grown in a 100mm diameter pot
- Plants are usually sent on a Monday each week to ensure they arrive prior to the weekend. All orders to VIC, SA and QLD are sent Express Post.
