A hardy, beautiful, low-maintenance perennial that lends itself to mass planting as a ground cover beneath trees or in part shade. Soft, pink flowers are held above the foliage which is wonderfully fragrant. 'Ingwersens Variety' was found by Walter Ingwersens while hiking in Yugoslavia in 1929. The Royal Horticultural Society gave the Award of Garden Merit to this variety in 1993. Grows 30-40cm in height and spreads to 1m wide.
