A free-flowering perennial salvia producing masses of deep mauve-purple flowers above a neat mound of fresh green foliage. The flowers are held on upright stems, creating a lovely airy display and attracting bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.
A compact and reliable garden performer, 'Mesa Azure' is ideal for perennial borders, containers and mass planting. Performs best in full sun with well-drained soil and is relatively drought tolerant once established. Regularly removing spent flower stems will encourage further flowering through the warmer months. Approx. 40–50cm high × 40–50cm wide.
