Large mop head Hydrangea flowers that will vary in colour according to the soil pH. The addition of Hydrangea blue-ing agent to the soil will enable the plant to produce deep blue flowers. All Hydrangeas prefer partial to semi shade, enriched free draining soil, protection from wind and additional fertiliser and moisture. A yearly pruning will result in the best floral display. We assume 'Benelux' is named after the economic union in Western Europe of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg which takes its name from the combining of the beginning of each country's name.
