Part of the brand new Lake Series of Salvias. Bred for fast flowering vibrant colours, compact growth and to look good in containers. 'Lake Baikal' is half the height of popular Salvias like 'Amistad' and 'Black 'n Bloom'. Flowers are large, showy and of a blue that is electric yet clear and smooth. Sarah Raven describes it as Yves Sant Laurent blue which is perfectly fitting. This is a Salvia that is bred to please. We all think it's brilliant. Frost tender when young. 50cm x 50cm.

Port wine flower buds open to vivid crimson flowers. We don't grow many Salvias as there are so many on the market. Every now and again we will find one that we can't resist. 'Silas Dyson' falls into that category. The 'moody' tones of the flowers contrast well with coffee coloured Carex and the silver foliage of Helichrysum, Santolina and Senecio vira vira. 60cm x 30cm. Full sun. Cold winters will knock 'Silas Dyson' around but it will recover with the advent of warmer weather.

Handles most soils but prefers well drained sites with added organic matter.

A brilliant addition to the ever increasing range of new Salvias to explore. A striking black calyx supports a strong boysenberry purple flower which flowers through Summer and Autumn. Mid green leaves with a tinge of lime colouring make for a great contrast. Due to 'Smokey Jazz' having been bred for a neater tighter habit, it makes a good container specimen as well as striking garden feature. 80 x 80cm. Frost will cut this Salvia but is will surface strongly in the Spring. Great companion for silver foliage plants like Helichrysum and Santolina.
