A beautiful and elegant Miscanthus. Highly sought after for those seeking an evergreen Miscanthus. Arching, silvery plumes in late Summer and Autumn, forming a dense clump approximately 1m wide. Whilst the leaves will remain green throughout the year, as with the herbaceous Miscanthus varieties this grass can also be cut back in Winter. Approx. 1.5m high.

A compact, dwarf Pennisetum with dark maroon, almost black foliage. Soft flowers of red and white bushy tips. Great for coastal climates and areas with light to no frost. Full sun. Approximately 40cm high.

We are very excited to offer this grass for sale. It is relatively short at 70cm. The inflorescences open with a distinctive red tint. It is graceful and elegant yet tough in drought conditions. And....... it has the ability to handle soggy soils as well.

Beautiful silver blue upright foliage is this native grass' main feature. We've loved this grass ever since we acquired it over 10 years ago. It can reach over 150cm in good soil, less in poorer soils. Tough.
