This is a very exciting, new release ornamental grass. 'Ha Ha Tonka' was selected by Cassian Schmidt and Piet Oudolf. Their vast experience has brought us this wonderful new cultivar. Reaching 1m in height, 'Ha Ha Tonka' has a rigid upright habit with blue green to grey foliage. This grass, like no other, has visible fine hairs that catch the early morning and late afternoon light perfectly, creating what appears to be a halo around the plant. Grows well in poorer soils. Drought tolerant with great Autumn foliage colour. Good drainage is key.
