Carex appressa impressed us with a mass planting at the botanic gardens in Sydney (see photos). It is a handsome native grass-like sedge which enjoys areas of poor drainage. In contrast Carex appressa will also grow well in drier zones. Lime green to mid green foliage, grows to a height and width of 80cm. Frost tolerant and drought tolerant once established.
All plants are grown in a 100mm diameter pot
