Chocolate Cosmos is a fun little native Mexican plant with dark burgundy (with a hint of brown) flowers that bob above the foliage. It truly does have a scent of chocolate that is best smelt in the afternoon of a hot summer day. Best in fertile well drained soil or as a pot specimen. My mum has had some in her garden for a decade and they keep popping back year after year with little care required. Fabulous partnered with Carex testacea, Sedum 'Matrona' and silver foliage. 40cm x 40cm.
