A hardy native of North American prairies, Echinacea paradoxa var. paradoxa is an unfussy low maintenance plant that can survive dry spells, tolerates humidity and is robustly frost hardy. Blooms arise in late Spring and Summer to 90cm in height. This is a highly elegant Echinacea that has been used extensively in breeding programmes to enhance the colour range of modern Echinacea hybrids.
