A spectacular lacecap hydrangea, celebrated for its unique double flower heads and eye-catching form. The large blooms feature a central cluster of double florets surrounded by outer flowers held on long, slender stems, creating the appearance of a burst of fireworks frozen in bloom. This unusual flower structure makes it one of the most distinctive hydrangeas for the garden.

A hardy deciduous shrub with an upright, elegant habit, 'Fireworks' is ideal for shaded to part-shaded borders and containers. Growing to approximately 1.6m high × 1.2m wide, it thrives in fertile, moist, well-drained soil with protection from harsh afternoon sun and rewards gardeners with a spectacular summer display.

Fun Fact: Hydrangea 'Fireworks' was bred in Japan by renowned hydrangea breeder T. Yamamoto in 1960. Its unique double lacecap flowers, with outer florets extending away from the centre like exploding stars, inspired its memorable name.
