As a rule we have generally avoided growing smaller leaved bush Salvias due to their popularity in large garden centres. However with 'Ignition Purple' we have made an exception. It is notably heat and drought tolerant and has a reputation for being the most humidity tolerant of its type. But the real reason we included it in our range was the explosion of purple flowers throughout Summer. Irresistible!! 50-60cm tall and wide. Full sun with good drainage. Combines well with silver foliage, Tulbaghia varieties, Rudbeckia and Sedum.

Often mistaken for Salvias, Agastache bring bright and cheery colours to the landscape. Forever Summer 'Melon' is predominantly rockmelon-orange with a tinge of pale watermelon pink. An Anemone hybrid that has been bred to bloom profusely over a longer period and spread much more slowly than the true species. Deep rose pink semi-double flowers are held on sturdy stems in early to mid Autumn. It is long lived! Prefers fertile humus rich soils that retain moisture but are free draining. 60cm high x 75cm wide. Perfect for growing in semi shade and underneath trees.
