A new hybrid Echinacea that has been bred to produce highly branched plants with uniform structure. 'Red Ombre' produces large single flowers with a spiky gold brown central cone. The flower petals open to a strong tomato red but age to a brick red to rusty orange. Stunning plant when planted in containers, en masse or in a wilder style planting. Makes an excellent cut flower. 60cm x 60cm. Full sun and a decent quality soil for best results.

'Yellow Ombre', like all Echinacea in the Artisan™ series blooms heavily and uniformly, sets large flowers in all shades of golden yellow. Makes a great cut flower, attractive to bees and butterflies and grows best in full sun locations with well drained soil. Tolerant of cold, heat, frost, drought, rain and wind. In addition 'Yellow Ombre' has a high resistance to rust, mildew and botrytis. Flowers in Summer and Autumn through to Winter when the spent flowers make for great silhouettes against cooler skies. 70cm x 70cm. Combine with Sedum, Salvia and Ornamental Grasses.

Native to North American prairies where it handles dry and rocky soils. Longer lived than Echinacea purpurea. Thin reflexed, light pink petals hand down below the coppery central cone. Popularised by new naturalistic and meadow plantings. Combine Echinacea pallida with Eryngium, Sedum and ornamental grasses.

Yellow Ribbon Coneflower. This Echinacea is a glorious, clear, sunshine yellow and wonderfully fragrant. All the qualities that are unusual for an Echinacea. A hardy native of North American prairies, Echinacea paradoxa var. paradoxa is an unfussy low maintenance plant that can survive dry spells, tolerates humidity and is robustly frost hardy. Blooms arise in late Spring and Summer to 90cm in height. This is a highly elegant Echinacea that has been used extensively in breeding programmes to enhance the colour range of modern Echinacea hybrids.

Larger blooms of lavender rosy pink flowers sets 'Bright Star' apart from all other Echinacea. Flowers are born in mid Summer through to Autumn. Described as having extraordinarily heavy flowering. 'Magnus' was introduced to commercial horticulture in 1985 and is still considered one of the best pink purpurea Echinacea. Recently 'Magnus Superior' has been released. Improvements include a larger copper centre cone, darker stems and more consistent growth. Large pink daisy-like flowers to 1m tall. Dead flower heads remain on the plant well into Winter and are frequently visited by smaller birds such as finches and wrens.
