RHS Award of Garden Merit. This Oakleaf Hydrangea variety is particularly beautiful. The double white flowers tinged with lime green arch in clusters down from the deeply lobed mid green foliage. As the flowers age they adopt a pink hue which in turn browns to the appearance of parchment. The foliage colours to match, ageing to a bronze-purple in Autumn. The colder the Autumn the better the colour. A very eye catching specimen plant. Grows to 1.5m high and does best in well drained moist soil.

This form of Holly is prized for its upright growth and dark glossy leaves. The new growth is tinged with a chocolate burgundy colour. Once established this tall, dark and handsome shrub will tolerate drought, frost and coastal conditions. 2.5m x 2m. Makes a great hedge or specimen plant.

Free forming shrub to 3m high, this South American plant is perfect for south eastern Australia where there is no frost. It's main feature is the intense inky purple clusters of tubular flowers from Summer to Autumn. Can be cut back after flowering. Great background plant or feature plant.

A plant we have grown consistently for 25 years. Easily grown, Japanese Iris prefers semi shade and compost enriched soil. Adequate moisture will ensure quick growth. The white striped leaves brighten up any shaded space. Variegated Iris japonica contrasts well with Ajuga 'Catlins Giant', Ruscus hypoglossum, Plectranthus and Helleborus. Pretty ruffled blue and white flowers appear occasionally on 60cm spikes in early Spring. 45cm in height.

Emerging as lime green buds the flowers on POCO™ Citron shift to creamy lemon as they open then to canary yellow. As with all the POCO™ series the grassy green foliage reaches 40-50cm in height and flowers to 60-70cm. POCO™ Citron produces an abundance of blooms in the Summer months. Kniphofia as a genus is named after 18th century German botanist - Johann Hieronymus Kniphof. 'Red Hot Poker' is the common name, even if many are not red. All Kniphofia originate in Africa, but are bred all over the world. POCO™ Sunset has been bred by Terra Nova Nurseries. It is a compact variety that blooms longer and has attractive upright foliage. Makes a great container plant. Deep orange flowers that fade to tangerine as they age. Held above linear dark green foliage. Frost tolerant. 80cm high x 60cm wide.
