A stunning Miscanthus! The golden tassle like plumes appear in late Summer and Autumn, they gracefully hang above the lush green foliage and have a sense of royalty about them. Unlike some other Miscanthus, M. nepalensis prefers fertile, well drained soils and a little extra irrigation. Grows to 1.2m high x 1.2m wide.

A dwarf Miscanthus forming an upright, arching clump and producing bronze feathery flower heads which sit well above the leaves during Summer and Autumn. Like all Miscanthus, will add movement and a graceful form in the garden, particularly when planted in drifts. Full sun. 60cm x 50cm.

A superior fine textured selection. We have this grass planted down a portion of our driveway. Brutal weather conditions in the Summer of 2018 and 2019 didn't warrant any extra water for this tough plant. It just kept on performing. Red tints in the flowers and strong yellow autumn foliage add extra interest to this already stunning grass.

The most striking of all the variegated Miscanthus we grow. Rich green broad blades that have conspicuous milky white stripes with copper-coloured plumes that appear above the foliage in Autumn. 'Sarabande' fits into the Miscanthus group between 'Gracillimus' and 'Yaku Jima'. Slightly taller than 'Yaku Jima', and produces inflorescences with gold tints in late Summer on top of narrow graceful leaves. Used as a hedge, focal point, backdrop or drift. Very versatile. Tolerates most soil types in full sun. 1.5m x 1.0m.
